Alissa Sizemore, an eight-year-old amputee dancer, was featured in a new music video by LDS musical trio, Gentri.

Sizemore was seven-years-old when she was hit by a UPS truck, which led to the eventual amputation of her leg. However, that didn’t prevent Sizemore from pursuing her passion of dance. Only nine months after the accident Sizemore danced a solo to Colbie Caillat’s “Try,” which inspired her to embrace her new body.

Sizemore’s dancing has become an inspiration for many, which prompted Gentri to invite Sizemore to perform in their new music video. Gentri, also known as The Gentleman Trio, is composed of: Brad Robins, Casey Elliott and Bradley Quinn Lever, all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

“May this music video serve a powerful real-life example,” Gentri wrote on their YouTube page. “The only thing that stands between you and your dreams is the decision to act.”
