With the passing of President Boyd K. Packer, the Church has set apart Elder Russell M. Nelson as the new president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. President Nelson will not only continue his work as a special witness of Jesus Christ, but will also take on administrative responsibilities to oversee the development of the global church.

With Pioneer Day this Friday, the Church is encouraging members to think about ways that they are pioneers too. Familysearch is also using the “I am a Pioneer” campaign to encourage users to discover their pioneer ancestors.
0:38 – ‘My Plan’ Resource for Returned Missionaries
The Church will release a new resource this August called ‘My Plan’ to help missionaries adjust to life after the mission. The online program has eight sections that the missionary will complete before, during and after their missionary work. You can find more information about the program at churchofjesuschrist.org.

And twin sisters had the shock of their lives when they received missionary calls to very similar places.
