The Mormon Minute recaps news that’s happening in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This week, we cover: new missions opening this year, President and Sister Nelson’s Worldwide Devotional, and the Provo City Center Temple Open House.

0:07 – Three New Missions

Three new missions are opening this year in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, and Vietnam. The Mbuji-Mayi mission will come from a division of the Kinshasa and Lubumbashi missions, the Owerri mission will come from the Port Harcourt mission, and the Hanoi mission will come from the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission. These new missions will be up and running by July first.

0:29 – Worldwide Young Adult Devotional

President Nelson and his wife Sister Wendy Nelson spoke to young single adults on Sunday in the first worldwide devotional of 2016. They each shared a message surrounding resolutions, and millennials.

1:13 – Provo City Center Temple Open House

And the much anticipated open house for the Provo City Center temple begins this weekend and runs through March 5th. The Church released a video of the process the building has undergone over the past five years of its transformation.
