Mormons Made Simple published a new video explaining basic doctrine surrounding Mormon marriages.
“Mormons wait until they are 16 to start dating, date in order to have fun and develop social skills, wait until marriage to have a sexual relationship, and follow Jesus Christ,” the video says. “They believe these preparations make marriage stronger.”
The video also explains that Mormon marriages have two parts: the legal part, which includes obtaining the marriage license, and the spiritual part, which includes the sealing inside the temple.
