The sixth video in Mormon Channel’s “12 Steps to Change” series explores Aram’s recovery from drug addiction.
Following the abduction and death of his 15-year-old sister, and the death of his parents a few years later, Aram felt God betrayed him and left him all alone. Aram stopped trying to control his drug use and became heavily addicted.
After Aram completed the 12 steps and had been sober for a year, he was still struggling. Not knowing why, he decided to review the steps again and realized he never truly completed step 6. “I couldn’t recall truly asking God to remove my character defects,” Aram says in the video. “I decided I was going to do it.”
