A mobile iOS app, Time Machine, is encouraging people to do good by collaborating with causes and friends to generate support for dozens of charitable causes.

The app motivates users to spend time raising awareness for causes through the app’s fun and challenging activities. Each activity is worth minutes, or points, that qualify users to win free meals, merchandise and tickets to see a sold-out show of Imagine Dragons on July 28 at the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City.

Lindsay Hadley, Time Machine co-founder and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, explained the idea behind the app,

Time is our most precious resource, but most of us just follow people instead of having our own meaningful experiences.

Hadley continued by saying, “We want people to do inspiring things and  support causes, online and beyond the screen.”

Some of the activities that users can engage in on the app are volunteering at a hospital, performing a lip sync and sharing an educational article or video.

Time Machine is free and available in the App Store to download.
