Feeding the Refugees in Beirut

1028

Growing up, Antoinette’s parents always taught her to help others. Her father even suggested that one day she open a free restaurant to feed the hungry.

Years later, when her town became home to thousands of refugees, Antoinette followed her father’s advice and opened a free restaurant to feed the hungry.

In the video Mormon Channel posted to YouTube, Antoinette says,

What we do here isn’t something big. It is the least we can do, to help our fellowmen.

Each day, volunteers provide 300 meals for the refugees with food that LDS Charities provides. Other charitable associations provide help to assist with the restaurant’s financial needs.
