Two Brothers Give Up Their Homes to Help 23 Iraqi Refugee Families

1035

When ISIS entered a town in Northern Iraq, citizens were forced to flee for their lives. Although some died, many were able to escape, leaving behind everything they owned.

Mormon Channel posted a video about how two brothers gave up their homes so that 23 refugee families would have a place to live. The video explains that all of the individuals in these families are unemployed. The families are in desperate need of the necessities of life, such as food and medicine.

The woman who takes care of these families is quoted in the video, saying,

Seeing these children, women, and elderly all crying, seeing their situation—I just want to be there for them, to help them, to serve them in any way I can.
