I have an entirely speculative and tentative belief that he was married. Beyond that, I haven't paid much mind.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

I agree. While it is speculation and never church doctrine it has been taught by early church leaders. From fairmormon.org

Several early LDS leaders believed Jesus was married, and said so from the pulpit on occasion. Here is one example from Apostle Orson Hyde:

Now there was actually a marriage [at Cana (John 2:1–11)]; and if Jesus was not the bridegroom on that occasion, please tell who was. If any man can show this, and prove that it was not the Savior of the world, then I will acknowledge I am in error. We say it was Jesus Christ who was married, to be brought into the relation whereby he could see his seed (Isaiah 53:10), before he was crucified. "Has he indeed passed by the nature of angels, and taken upon himself the seed of Abraham, to die without leaving a seed to bear his name on the earth?" No. But when the secret is fully out, the seed of the blessed shall be gathered in, in the last days; and he who has not the blood of Abraham flowing in his veins, who has not one particle of the Savior's in him, I am afraid is a stereotyped Gentile, who will be left out and not be gathered in the last days; for I tell you it is the chosen of God, the seed of the blessed, that shall be gathered. I do not despise to be called a son of Abraham, if he had a dozen wives; or to be called a brother, a son, a child of the Savior, if he had Mary, and Martha, and several others, as wives; and though he did cast seven devils out of one of them, it is all the same to me. [3]

I think it’s a reasonable belief but not something to preach in church.

I was familiar with the marriage at Cana speculation, but my own speculation is based more on Christ as the exemplar, leading the way on the bath to divinity, which included entering into the new and everlasting covenant of marriage.

Whether Christ was literally married or not, at the very least there are not a few passages of scripture that figuratively have him married to the church.

If you google to ask if it is harmful to not madturbate then it’s probably going to say no. However if you google asking the health benefits of masturbation you will find a lot of benefits. Therefore not masturbating will deny these benefits.

I'm not going to do the legwork of supporting your arguments for you.  Until last I had never heard of the idea of it being harmful not to masturbate.  I don't buy it.  Sorry.

Besides, it's a fallacy that somehow not gaining these vague and unclear benefits somehow translates to harm.  I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt before that you weren't outright advocating for masturbation, as you claimed.  I'm not longer buying that either.  Your arguments are directly in support of promoting masturbating.  Just be honest about it.  You may be able to salvage some credibility on here if you do.

I’m not sure if my problem is an anomaly or not. Not many men in general society go without sex long enough to notice if they had my same problem. If you did a research study on it you wouldn’t find willing participants.

Entirely speculative.

So in church we had a lesson on chastity and why it is important to keep and during it i started to wonder if because I masturbate and look at porn does that break the law of chastity?

Actually, that is exactly what the law of chastity is about.  Just because you "M" does not make you evil, instead it makes you normal.  Because you find porn attractive, it also means you're normal.  Me, I'm old enough that when I look at porn, I'm figuring that girl's/guy's/it's likely got more STD's than Wolfman Jack has for hair on his head.  Likely a few there may not be Latin names for yet, as well.

When you feel the urge, ask yourself where you're gonna get a job that'll pay you, as young an inexperienced as you are, enough to raise a family.  Yeah, McDonald's.  Booger King.  Riiiight.  Minimum wage just don't cut it, kiddo.  When you feel the urge, pray.  When you feel lonely, pray.  When you wonder if or when you'll ever find "the one for you", pray.

And when you think you met her, and then you meet her dad, THEN you really start praying!

Wow. You are the bait Master but In case you were not trolling with your question.

Uh, yeah!  lol if you look on a woman and lust after her you are breaking God's laws.

Are you a horrible person? No. Just find something else to do. If you feel helpless then pray.

What if you keep messing up? Don't panic, you'll eventually conquer the urge.

Best Wishes
