Third Hour Posted September 14, 2018 Report Share Posted September 14, 2018 With the recent start of a new school year for many students, as well as the Church's emphasis on learning at home, education is a hot topic. As Latter-day Saints, we know that learning, both secular and spiritual, is essential for our progression. This truth is reflected in Section 130 of the Doctrine and Covenants, "And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come." Whether you are struggling with a child who doesn't see the point in doing homework, trying to start up regular family scripture study, or contemplating going back to college, we hope the wisdom found in these talks provides some inspiration. 1.
